About the role:
As our first Product Marketing Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to build the product marketing function from scratch. Supported by the CMO, who this role reports directly into, this is a pivotal role where you will create and execute product marketing strategies, working closely with our product, sales, and marketing teams to bring our product offerings to life in a way that resonates with both existing and new customers.
While there is tremendous growth potential in this role, there will also be foundational work to set up processes and establish the basics of product marketing. If you’re excited about the opportunity to lay the groundwork and scale from the ground up, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and Own the Product Marketing Function: Establish product marketing processes, best practices, and frameworks. This includes supporting on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Develop and manage sales enablement tools, presentations, product content, and training that empower the sales team to effectively communicate product value.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute successful product launches and updates, working closely with product, marketing and sales teams to deliver clear, consistent messaging across all channels.
- Event Content and Marketing Collateral: Create compelling event content, product briefs, whitepapers, and case studies that demonstrate the value of our offerings.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes, shaping product positioning accordingly.
- Customer Feedback Loop: Work closely with the product team to ensure customer feedback is communicated across product, sales and marketing teams
- Metrics and Reporting: Measure and report the effectiveness of product marketing strategies and adjust accordingly to optimize results.
About You:
- Proven experience in product marketing
- Strong knowledge of sales enablement, product positioning, and messaging strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strategic mindset paired with the ability to execute on foundational tasks and build processes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the excitement to build a product marketing function from scratch.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and marketing.
- Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of performance metrics and data-driven decision-making.
